Guide on /me & /do

This is a guide on how to use a /me and a /do.

/me is always used for an action, and makes your RP more interesting.
BUT: you have to remember not to powergame!

An example:
(X is a random character name)

/me hits X in the stomach.

The above is a clear example of powergaming as the other player has no say in the outcome. A better way of doing it would be:

/me attempts to hit X in the stomach.

Rule number 1: ALWAYS use "attempts to". It's usually used in fights.

Rule number 2: When you said "/me attempts to..." you always have to
say after it: "/do S/F"? (/do Success/Fail?)
Person X then has to answer /do S or /do F.

Rule number 3: When you say /do F you ALWAYS have to give a reason why it failed.

This doesn't mean you can only use /me and /do in fights.
As I said before, /me is used for an action.
Other examples could be:

/me gets a key from his/her pocket, unlocking the house.
/me opens the glovebox, getting a Colt.45 from it.
/me rolls down the windows, as X is knocking on it.

/do is used for questions, such as "S/F?" or just to answer on those questions.
An example of the last one could be:
(X and Y are random character names)

X: /me opens the trunk, looking what's inside.
X: /do What do I see inside?
Y: /do You can see a dead body inside, with several gun shots.

Look at the last /do, you can see it's also used to describe something or yourself.
More examples are:

/do You can see X has a big Cuban cigar in his mouth.
/do X is a tall guy, wearing a tidy shirt and a blue jeans.
/do You can see X is bleeding from his right shoulder.

Well... This guide is pretty classic, from the modern RP I learned from another community. Instead of using /me attempts to punch Andrew, you can use /me swings a punch at Andrew. /b Do I Punch you?

Yeah. Teaching this noobs with simple RP is a good start. Later they can be teached for Passive RP.
